What the tank doesn’t come with is the line and fittings needed to connect the tank to the engine, so we looked to Earl’s for fittings and line. We chose to use Speed-Flex hose since it has a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE, aka
Teflon) liner instead of rubber, so it will be impervious to the newer and more aggressive fuel blends and additives that can possibly eat away at rubber hose. We coupled the hose with Speed-Seal hose ends. These components should help us create a fuel system that will hold up and look great as well.
