1996 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 - Good Genes Can't Hurt

Orange flamed fourth-gen Z28

Having the right parents is something we learn to appreciate as we get older. Good genes saves us from some diseases and may possible help us live longer? Kyle Ricchio's genetic good fortune involves having a father that can paint cars. We don't mean just laying on a few coats of primer and enamel so the car can be parked under a tree for the rest of its life. No, we're talking really cool pearls and flames like you see on Kyle's car. Dad, Jerry Ricchio, is a lifelong hot rodder and has developed his skill in painting cars at home.

When Kyle first brought this '96 Z28 home, it was stock Forest Green. Dad and son put a flame job over the green and that lasted about two years. Then it was time to disassemble the car and when it was out back together it was Candy Oreole Orange with flames that Kyle and Jerry did in the garage. During this time Kyle was finishing up his college so he couldn't devote as much time and money to doing the other things he would like to do to his car. Now that he has a job we expect this car will get some high-profile additions. At least he won't need another paint job, and if he does, he has a connection with one of the best guys in town.
