1968 Chevrolet Camaro - Daddy's Cool Car

And It's On The Cover, Too

As a child, Brock Weld dreamed of owning his own cool Camaro. One day about two years ago he found one and bought it, although it was far from cool. Matter of fact it was cold, almost dead. Rust, bad paint, dents, broken windows and other parts, but he had to start somewhere. Lots of hard work, time, money, and adding two kids to the family were involved, but from what we see it paid off. This is a great car, rather unique in a world of look-alike cars, and is a reflection of Weld's vision. The custom dash and tonneau cover with stripes that match the Rallye stripes outside are definitely not something we're going to see on many other Camaros.

The payoff for Brock is when he can drive with his wife and children on California's Pacific Coast Highway, crank the stereo up a bit, and hear his son call the Camaro, "Daddy's Cool Car!"
