What you see here is the first photo of Joel "Mr. Motion" Rosen's 800-HP 427-SC Supercharged Supercar after dyno and road testing. Built by Redline Motorsports and sold through Denooyer Chevrolet, this photo was taken prior to its shipment to Rosen in Florida.
Note that in this photo the custom front spoiler, wheel center caps, Motion badging and exhaust extensions have yet to be installed.
Rosen has partnered with Redline and Denooyer to build a new line of Motion Performance Camaros based on the 2011 model. As reported previously in Super Chevy Magazine and at superchevy.com, there are five new Motion Camaros ranging in horsepower from a "mere" 525 to at outlandish 800.
Rosen's Phase III 427-SC Supercharged Supercar fifth-gen will be shown to the public for the first time on April 8-10 at the Palm Beach International Raceway in Jupiter, Florida. Rosen will take delivery of his gold-trimmed Synergy Green Camaro on April 9 at the Toyo Tires exhibit.
According to Motion publicist Marty Schorr, the limited-production Phase III 427-SC Supercharged Supercar is the "Bad Boy of the 2011 Baldwin-Motion Fantastic Five lineup that includes an SS-427, Phase III 427, SS-454 and Phase III 454 Camaros."
The PBIR event kicks off the 31st annual Super Chevy Show season and it starts with a cruise from National Parts Depot in Ocala, Florida, to PBIR on Friday, April 8. The show will have something for everyone-a two-day car show and drag race, the AMSOIL Best of the Best competition presented by Danchuk, a Toyo Tires-sponsored autocross, and fifth-gen Camaro bracket race put together by the fine folks at camaro5.com. Let's not forget the exhibition cars and the Revell Make N Take program, which supplies free model car kits for children to build.
