The guys at Classic Car Studio (CCS) are at it again, whipping up another hot Chevy Chevelle for our carnivorous consumption. And this one, just like every other ride that comes out of CCS, is a stone-cold-killer muscle machine. Let’s take a look and see what they are brewing there on the shores of the Mississippi in beautiful St. Louis, Missouri.

This Chevy A-body came in for a full makeover and the boys did not disappoint. Under the guidance of Noah Alexander’s crew, the ’71 Chevelle is turning into a ride for the ages, receiving only the best of the best parts; all there to turn this mild Chevy into a wild Pro Touring beast.

We are not going to give you all the details (look for them in the upcoming full feature) but the rodders recipe here starts with an MRC Fabrication chassis with an in-house modified rear IRS. A built 9-inch rear with a John’s Industries third member finishes off the core of the suspension duties. B-Forged wheels sit at the corners and are wrapped in Pirelli rubber. Big Wilwood brakes will do the stopping here.

And, of course, you wonder what about the motorvation for this here ride? Glad you asked, as CCS has a healthy Chevrolet Performance LS9 at the ready. It will be shifted by a T-56 transmission. Keep an eye out here at Super Chevy for the finished product. You won’t want to miss this one!
