1. Long Term Hauler
Mark Leedham - 1958 Cameo

Quick Take: Mark paid $600 for this Cameo 27 years ago, and now it has a 383, Trick Flow heads, Muncie 4-speed, and a 9-inch with 4.11 gears. It runs 13.6 at New England Dragway.

1969 Chevy Malibu Beeson Black 2/6

2. Home Built
Chris Beeson - 1969 Malibu

Quick Take: The owner did everything on this car except mount the wheels to the tires. It’s got a ZZ502 under the hood, a Currie 9-inch with 3.55 gears, and a TH400. CPP A-arms help the A-body handle better.

1955 Chevy 210 Williams Orange 3/6

3. Showstopper
Johnnie Williams - 1955 210

Quick Take: Over the course of nine years, this ’55 got a 572, Turbo 400 trans with a Gear Vendors OD, Jim Meyer subframe, plus tilt wheel, power windows, and electric exhaust cutouts.

1980 Chevy Malibu Wagon North Blue 4/6

4. Family Heirloom
Tim North - 1980 Malibu Wagon

Quick Take: Tim’s grandparents bought this family truckster new, then gave him the car when they were too old to drive. The engine is a 408 out of his father’s Dirt Modified race car and it made 585 hp on pump gas.

1961 Chevy Impala Elrod Biscayne 5/6

5. Here Come Old Flattop
Mike Elrod - 1961 Impala

Quick Take: Say hello to Helen, a ’61 Biscayne “flattop.” Under the hood is a 350 TBI/700-R4 combo out of a ’94 Caprice. The owner’s also added front disc brakes, power steering, and Sun gauges.

1968 Chevrolet Camaro Salzman Blue 6/6

6. His 401K
Bill Salzman - 1968 Camaro

Quick Take: This guy’s owned 45 first-gen Camaros, and this one, No. 40, is a tribute to his first. It actually sits on the chassis of a ’98 Z28! All the fourth-gen features, including anti-lock brakes, are functional, and his wife loves driving it because it’s so much fun.
