1. Landon Rogers– ’73 Camaro Z28
Quick Take: This is Landon’s first car, and the 16-year-old started saving for it when he was 13. It packs a 350 with an Edelbrock intake and carb and is backed by a 700-R4 that the previous owner swapped in. It’s his daily driver, and he takes it to school almost every day.
2. Joe Darinsi– ’66 Yenko Corvair Stinger
Quick Take: This is Yenko serial number YS-313, and it’s one of 186 built. They were designed to compete in D/Production road racing and came with 140hp engines and four speeds. Joe’s has the Stage II engine, which developed 190 hp.
3. Brent Oliveira–’67 Chevelle
Quick Take: The owner rescued this A-body from its previous owner as a stalled project with tons of potential (and lots of parts in boxes). Under the hood is a 454 with fresh cylinder heads, an Edelbrock intake, and Holley carb. A Turbo 400 sends the power to a 3.73-geared rear.
4. David Yarnell–’71 Camaro
Quick Take: This was David’s father-in-law’s car before he died. David took over the project after it sat for 14 years, adding a fresh 350, new trans, and interior.
5. Alan Olshansky–’96 Camaro
Quick Take: Alan’s a longtime Chevy nut and the third owner of this F-body. He says the previous owner sent it to SLP to be turbocharged. The wheels were powdercoated white to match the body, and the orange stripes were added at the same time.
6. John Zielinski– ’68 Malibu
Quick Take: John picked up this baby 15 years ago, added a Matador Red interior and metallic silver paint, then dropped in a fresh 300-hp 327 and Muncie four-speed. He says it’s got plenty of get-up-and-go.
