1971 Chevrolet Chevelle 2/7

1. Ray Kendall, ’71 Chevelle SS454

Quick Take: Ray purchased this, his first muscle car, in 2012 at the ripe young age of 71. He rebuilt the Rat and 12-bolt, upgraded the four-speed OD automatic, and shows the car extensively.

1960 El Camino 3/7

2. Dino DiPaalo, ’60 El Camino

Quick Take: According to the owner, the original 348 under the hood’s been rebuilt and upgraded to the tune of about 500 hp.

1969 Chevrolet Camaro 4/7

3. Chris Dancer, ’69 Camaro

Quick Take: This was Chris’ first car, which he purchased a dozen years ago at age 15. He and his father refurbished it. The F-body has a 402, Muncie four-speed, and a 12-bolt spinning 3.31 gears.

1972 Monte Carlo 5/7

4. Rick Lakatos, ’72 Monte Carlo

Quick Take: Rick found this now-beautiful Monte in pieces on Long Island. He put it back together with its original 350 and TH350, added a new interior, wheels, tires, and maroon paint, and it’s his summer-only daily driver.

1970 Caprice 6/7

5. Patrick O’Neill, ’70 Caprice

Quick Take: Nothing like a fullsize with a 400/Turbo 400 combo, the tow package, and Posi. According to the owner, it has just 40,000 original miles. It was repainted five years ago.

1967 Chevrolet Nova 7/7

6. Chris Canon, ’67 Nova

Quick Take: With 383 cubes, a four-speed, and a 3.55 Posi, this lightweight is a match for cars with lots more displacement. The 383 has World heads, a Holley Avenger carb, and “a nasty cam.”
