1.The Lowery Family—1967 Camaro coupe, 1967 Camaro convertible, 2002 Camaro SS

Quick Shot: Some families love a brand, while the Lowery family loves a particular model. Lisa Lowery and husband Allen both have '67 Camaros, Lisa's got a 32,000-mile ragtop with a 350 and stinger hood, Allen's is a restomod that took him 10 years to restore by himself. Their son Stephen keeps the tradition going with an '02 SS. Allen also has a '67 Camaro drag car, while Stephen also has a '01 SS.

2. Jonathon Fitzgerald—1984 El Camino

Quick Shot: Eighteen-year-old Jonathon works at Wall 2 Wall performance in Livingston, Louisiana. With the help of his dad, he rebuilt a well-worn '84 Elky that his grandfather passed on to him. The motor is a 383 Jonathon built through work, backed by a 700-R4 and 3.73 gears. With some assistance on the paint and engine assembly, it took him three years to finish.

3. Tom Metzler—1955 150 Sedan

Quick Shot: Tom loved American Graffiti to the point he picked up this '55 in 2003, then spent five years building it into a cool cruiser with Lucas' iconic car classic in mind. The drivetrain is a 350/TH400 combo, with dual Edelbrock carbs atop the small-block, Doug's headers, and a lot of chrome in the engine compartment.

4. Mike Houk—1970 Malibu

Quick Shot: After having his '85 Z28 stolen in 1994, Mike took the insurance money and picked up this Malibu while stationed at Point Magu with the Navy. Over the years the car had a couple of different small-block combos, then in 2010 Mike switched to a 454/700-R4 setup. After getting it dialed in, Mike says it runs scary good.

5. Mario Gutierrez—1972 Nova

Quick Shot: Mario picked up his Nova for $500 three years ago. In his words, it was in very sad shape. Undaunted, he dug into the '72, and now the car is completely rebuilt and like new. Under the hood is a 383/TH350 pairing that spins a set of 4.56 gears in a 9-inch rear that's spool-equipped. Inside he added a full interior, six-point roll cage, and '68 Camaro center console.
