Chris Morganelli from Atoka, TN, came to the show once again with his murdered out ’67 Camaro. This was a project car his father owned when Chris was just a boy. He told us "I have fond memories of helping dad work on it". The car was passed down to Chris some time ago and he restored the car to honor his pops. Chris is a sheet metal worker by trade so he did most of the work himself in his garage. Sometimes he would call in the help of a friend or two but this sucker was mainly built in the Morganelli garage. The Camaro has a 400 small-block topped with AFR heads and Holley HP fuel injection. Shifts come via a TKO 600 trans that pushed the power back to a 3.73 geared Moser 12-bolt. A full Hotchkis suspension and 18-inch Dynamic Performance Engineering rims keep the car flat and stuck to the tarmac. We shot a full feature on the car so keep your eyes pealed for the next sighting of the Dark Night.
