Who: Frank Ricciardi Where: Cedar Knolls, NJ What: 2011 C6 Grand Sport coupe
I'm the President of the North Jersey Corvette Club, and I'm sending a photo of my Grand Sport for your consideration.
The car is Torch Red with an Ebony interior. It's fully equipped with the 3LT package, GPS, a six-speed manual transmission, chrome wheels, two tops, dual-mode exhaust, and the Heritage Package. It's my third Corvette: The first was a Torch Red '01 convertible, and the second was a Precision Red '05 coupe.
While I've loved all of my Corvettes, the Grand Sport is my favorite. So far I've clocked fewer than 4,000 miles on the odometer, but I have thoroughly enjoyed every one of them. I very much enjoy displaying my Vette at local cruise nights and shows, and the 19 coats of Zaino Brothers' Show Car Polish on it ensure that it attracts a lot of attention wherever it goes.

Ten years ago, we saw an ad for this Dark Red Metallic '86 coupe. Upon inspection, we found it to be a completely unmolested, everything-working car offered for sale by its original owner. We bought it and set out to completely rebuild it from the ground up, including new paint in the original color and a few changes to make "Rose" ours.
Mods include a Comp Cams XE262 camshaft with 1.6 rockers, a MagnaFlow/Borla exhaust system, and a programmable ECM. The car has been lowered, and we've installed Energy Suspension bushings, Koni shocks, A-mold GS replica wheels, and Kumho XS rubber.
It's been auto-crossed and raced on the dragstrip, and we've joined the "130 Club" at Bonneville by hitting that speed in the standing mile on the salt.
We've put 50,000 miles on Rose since the overhaul, and our journeys have included Mount Rushmore and Route 66 with Corvette'n America. We recently took a First Place in class at the Oregon Corvette Weekend Shine & Show.
In 2014, we're planning on joining the caravan to Bowling Green.

You probably thought this was a coupe, but it's a (formerly) fixed-roof '08 Z06 hardtop, to which I had Caravaggio perform its Targa-top conversion. The company also re-upholstered the interior in tan leather with orange stitching.
Other modifications include "fire" paint, Forgeline wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport tires (which allow the car to stick to the track on track days), a custom vented hood, a B&B Fusion exhaust, a Haltech air intake, an MGW short-throw shifter, a carbon-fiber front spoiler, body-color underhood pieces, and a license plate that says "WAY2FAST" on it.
This is my sixth Corvette. I can't wait to get a C7!
