The fifth-gen Camaro's factory SS front-end is simply boring, at least when compared to the Z/28, ZL1, or even the 1LE. We wanted to give our 2012 SS a serious nose job, so we teamed up with the Advanced Composite Specialties (ACS) in the last issue of Camaro Now for a more aggressive, and aerodynamically altering front splitter. Well we had an unfortunate incident with the front splitter, as tends to happen, and we decided to use the opportunity to mount a new one more solidly that would hold up to the downforce. Along with the added front downforce, the fifth-gen will also inherit a more excitingly aggressive side profile, with a pair of rockers. These simple bolt-ons are enough to add functionality and provide an upgrade in the styling department, with just a wrench and a drill. Greg Lovell from AntiVenom stopped by the Source Interlink Media headquarters, to provide a steady hand for the drilling and get our 2012 looking better than ever.
