Strange Fifth-Gen Camaro S60 IRS

Tired of dealing with the weak factory rear end in your fifth-gen Camaro? Check out Strange Engineering’s all-new S60 bolt in housing, which brings Dana 60 strength with OE type fit and finish. Cast from aluminum, the S60 IRS rear features reinforced billet main caps, the tried-and-true S-Trac differential, a 1350-sytle driveshaft yoke, and your choice of ring and pinion. An O-ring equipped rear cover ensures a leak free seal, and the cast housing accepts OE and aftermarket bushings for a stout mounting solution. Bolt up some axles, fill it with fluid, and hit the track running.

Y-Not Tri-Y

Increase mid-range torque and overall power production on your C6 Corvette with a set of Pfadt Race Engineering’s all-new Tri-Y 4-2-1 long-tube headers. Designed and built in-house in Salt Lake City, Utah, these 1.75- to 2-inch stepped Tri-Y headers feature CNC stainless steel flanges with OEM locating features, fully brushed 304-grade 16-guage stainless tubing, and V-band clamp connections. Each Tri-Y header is fully TIG-welded by hand to ensure a perfect fit and finish before shipping out the door. The 3-inch collectors flow into a one-piece 3-inch X-pipe, which bolts directly to any existing muffler system. You can order your Tri-Y long-tubes with or without catalytic converters and Pfadt also offers oxygen sensor extenders and multi-layer manifold gaskets for a worry-free installation.

Quiet Riot

Reduce interior heat and annoying road noise without adding a ton of unnecessary weight to your project with DEI’s all-new Under Carpet Lite Boom Mat. At a 1⁄2 inch thick, this multi-layer, waterproof, composite material is designed to be flexible, and easy to install, while insulating up to 85 percent of unwanted heat and minimizing annoying rattles and vibrations. Best of all, it’s lighter than other drop-in insulators and can be purchased in rolls up to 54x72 inches (27 square feet) for big jobs that require a lot of Boom Mat. You can install it under your current carpet with ease and you’ll notice a difference on the very first drive.

Bigger Blower, Stock Stuff

There is no doubt that the LSA engine found in the ZL1 and CTS-V is a stout piece, but if you’re looking for more power while maintaining OEM reliability, you’re eventually going to need a larger supercharger. Now, thanks to Lingenfelter Performance Engineering, you can simply swap the 1900-series blower for the much larger 2300 supercharger found on the Corvette ZR1 engine and keep all of your stock accessories in place. This slick LSA to LS9 snout maintains the factory Camaro and CTS-V belt fitment and keeps the OEM throttle body in the stock location for a quick and simple blower swap.

No Sway

From the track to the street, UMI Performance is taking care of the G-body fans with the new ’78-’88 G-body sway bar kit. Designed around a 1-inch hollow bar, the UMI Pro Tour style rear sway bar system clamps over your existing rear axles tubes (2.75-, 3-, and 3.25-inch) with a set of CNC-machined serrated tooth clamps and heavy duty U-bolts that ties into the suspension system with adjustable length rod ends for a perfect fit. Adjustable using the three included endlink mounting holes, racers can set up the bar for street, strip, or the road course and can even preload the bar for heavy-duty drag launches. Best of all, the Pro Tour bar will fit around any stock housing or any 12-bolt, 9-inch, or Moser Fab 9 while offering excellent ground clearance.

Mini-Ram

You’ve seen the Holley Hi-Ram LS intakes in here before, but we’re excited about the new Mini-Ram for several reasons. Built for cathedral style cylinder heads (LS1/2/6), the Mini-Ram is just a scant 10.44 inches tall and was designed by Holley engineers to provide excellent performance from 1500-6500 rpm by combining a traditional dual-plane design with an EFI-style plenum. Appropriate for any street or strip build, the cast aluminum Mini-Ram is great for supercharged or turbocharged power plants and, hopefully, will fit under your hood without too much fuss. Even if you need a new cowl hood to clear it, we’re betting this intake is worth the work!
