'71 Nova
Tom Watson
Ashland, MA

2/2

Kudos to Tom Watson for building the car himself. With a potent Shafiroff 440ci small-block pumping out 625 hp on pump gas, it’s no wonder this little Nova scoots down the track to the tune of 9.90s. Transmission is a tried-and-true TH400 with a transbrake. A Moser 9-inch sits out back with a set of track-friendly 4.10:1 gears. Foose wheels and Baer brakes complement each corner for looks and improved performance. His efforts certainly haven’t gone unnoticed at the car shows, especially with the number of awards he’s already amassed.
