Generation Gap
Father and son team Ed and Brian Piper from Mundelein, Illinois, are both avid late-model GM enthusiasts and GMHTP readers. Ed's '03 Corvette is basically stock, except for a pair of Borla Stinger mufflers out back. His son's '95 Trans Am, however, is an entirely different story. Powered by a cammed LT1, Brian's TA breathes out a set of Hooker headers, which feed a GMMG catback. A SPEC clutch spins the T56 transmission, which transfers power to a set of 4.10 gears housed inside the factory 10-bolt rear. Both cars are lowered, Ed's on the stock bolts, Brian's on a set of Eibach Pro-Kit springs.
