1973 Chevy Nova - CHP Rides

Above The Law

'73 Nova
Greg Nelson
Palmdale, CA

As a California Highway Patrol officer and full-time muscle car enthusiast, it only makes sense to see that this Nova looks as good as it does. Nelson purchased the sled five years ago for $4,000 with only 60,000 on the meter. With the exception of the paint, Nelson did the rest. He completely powdercoated the subframe and mini-tubbed the rear with a Detroit Speed kit to fit the massive 315s. Power is delivered by a GMPP ZZ383 with fast-burn heads and MSD ignition, while a Tremec five-speed handles shifting. All four corners sit on17-inch Torq-Thrusts along with 12-inch Wilwood binders.
