For 30 years now, the Super Chevy Show series has been giving Chevy lovers a great excuse to get together and celebrate everything great about America’s favorite nameplate. For the first time ever the show rolled into Tulsa Raceway Park for two days of car show and drag race action. This was the fourth of six shows for the season and, even with triple-digit temperatures, Chevy fans still came to participate in or catch the action.

Lots of Chevys rolled out for the drag racing action to get some of the prize money on the line in the various classes. In addition to the car show and drag race action, spectators had a lot to see, including a vendor midway and an automotive swap meet. Additionally, there were exhibition cars running down the quarter-mile track. By the time you read this, all the events for this year will be wrapped up, but keep an eye on the Super Chevy website so you can make plans to hit one of next summer’s events.

Considering the scorching temperatures, the turnout for the car show was pretty good. There were a ton of nice cars like this Malibu SS on display.
