Making the trip for Heidts Hot Rod & Muscle Car Parts was Randy Johnson of D&Z Customs from Kewoskum, Wisconsin, in his '70 Camaro. This car is wicked cool and gets its oomph from a built-up 403-inch LS with Magnuson supercharger sitting on top and a T56 transmission out back. But the real news is its Heidts bolt-in independent rear suspension that moves the rear brakes inboard. Not only did this help the F-body ride smoothly on the street, the lack of visable binders made the 19-inch rear wheels look even bigger.
