Pictured here are some winners... Pictured here are some winners who took best in their respective classes. Congratulations to all. | Indianapolis Raceway Park... Indianapolis Raceway Park is a historic paradise for Chevy racers-notice there are no cheating Mustangs in this photo. | While cruising the swap meet... While cruising the swap meet area, we met Bob Ezell, alias "Malibu Bob." M-Bob claims to have owned 298 Malibus, including the one pictured here. Bob is mixing his love of this car with his late father's love of the gasser in this tribute to his dad. Hopefully we'll get to see the finished product next year. | Winning the Tremec True Street... Winning the Tremec True Street Event was Ryan Coddington in his super-fast '94 Camaro. With a little squirt of the giggle gas, Ryan propelled his F-body to an average of 10.77-seconds over three runs. Nice job, Ryan! | After kicking some tires in... After kicking some tires in the Car Corral (for sale section), we found a piece of Super Chevy magazine history. This 1974 big-block Chevelle was classified as "The Last 454" by Doug Marion (former editor and current contributor to Super Chevy magazine). The original California plates labeled "LAST 454" are still on the car. | Cary Deckard of Bedford, Indiana,... Cary Deckard of Bedford, Indiana, earned an Editor's Choice Show Award for his ProCharged '67 Camaro. Yeah, we're suckers for carbureted blow-through power. | No nitrous, no blower-just... No nitrous, no blower-just you every day run of the mill '72 Malibu with a bad stance and an even badder attitude via 454 ci of Chevy power. Gale Pitman earned an Editor's Choice Show Award for his efforts. | Just truck it! Looks like... Just truck it! Looks like these boys from Indy don't play around. Four-wheel drive Chevy lovers were out and looking good. | |
