SEMA Show 2007 Coverage

If we tried to say we didn't notice the eye-popping models at the SEMAshow, you'd know we're lying through our teeth. Hot women and hotcars/parts have gone together since the first hot rod had its fenderscut off and straight pipes installed.

Does this mean Ann Margaret's not coming? Did we mention the hot models at the show this year?

Newly refitted, restored, and better than new, Project X made anotherSEMA debut, this time in the GM Performance Parts booth. Yeah, we knowit belongs to those other guys, but it's a '57, and Super Chevy is thehome of Tri-5 Chevys. one of the special things about the car's newincarnation is what's between the fenders, No. 001 of the new 427 ZL1motors GMPP is releasing in a limited production run.

This lovely lady threatened us with bodily harm if we didn't take herpicture. After we took the picture, she wouldn't follow through with herthreat anyway. Damn!

Is that a big block or a jet turbine inside that engine compartment?!

The '09 Camaro convertible concept was at SEMA, and naturally it drewquite a crowd. The whole Chevy world is anxiously awaiting this car'sarrival like the second coming, and as soon as we have details on whatthe production version is gonna be, we'll let Super Chevy nation know.

Also making its debut at SEMA was Project American Heroes. A tribute toal of our service men and women, Project AH celebrates the 50thanniversary of the '57 while honoring those who have served our countrythroughout its history.

It's not often you see a really trick '61 Impala at any show, so we hadto take a pic of this slammed to the ground monster. Unfortunately thehood wasn't open so we couldn't see what's motivating this full size.
