Up and at 'em! Danny Johnson had the only '57 that we saw on track on Sunday. When we gave him an Editor's Choice drag race award, he told us he would give us a killer wheelie with his ride. Danny, you did not disappoint. That's some serious sunlight underneath his '57.

Ohio Super Chevy Show 1957 Chevy Wagon
Dave Archer and Larry Albrecht were just a couple of young bucks back in the '60s when they built their '57 Chevy draggin' wagon. Marriage, families and life stepped in and the race car was sold. When Archer and Albrecht reached retirement, it was time to play with race cars again. However, the original wagon had long since disappeared and could never be located, so they built another one. They took a few passes Sunday morning and ran 11.41 at 113 mph-all this with a 292 small-block. How's that for a Jr. Stock race car?

And then came the rain. Larry DeForrest took cover in our golf cart, while his son ran for shelter in their '65 Chevelle wagon (an Editor's Choice car show award winner). We had planned on doing a photo shoot later that evening with Larry and the wagon, but the rain took care of those plans.
Ohio Super Chevy Show 1979 Camaro
We're starting to see more and more late second-gen Camaros that are built to the hilt, like this amazing '79 Camaro owned by Jeannine Roll of Cincinnati.
