Summer time is rolling in which means its time to fire up those enginesonce again. The nights of cruising and car shows are about to begin!
If you're in the New England area, be sure to stop by Ground UpRestorations in Meriden, CT for their 3rd annual car show. They'll beshutting down the street with muscle cars, street rods, classics, andeverything in between. Last year was a great success with about 200 carsof all makes and model as well as lots of spectators.
In case you're not familiar with the company, Ground Up is theNortheast's largest supplier of restoration and detailing parts for yourChevelle, Camaro, Nova, and El Camino. With over 20,000 parts in stock,Ground Up serves customers all over the United States as well asoverseas. The annual car show is their way of saying thanks to all ofthe people who have allowed them to help transform their dream cars intoreality, not to mention help out the local community at the same time.
For the past two years, Ground Up has partnered with the Meriden PoliceUnion and the same will go for this year. There is a $10.00 entry feefor all show cars which directly benefits a local charity. There's alsofood, goodie bags, trophies, and a whole lot more. It's safe to sayeveryone has had a lot of fun and plenty to eat at the last two shows.
