Welcome to intermission. Today's showing consists of drag cars bringin' up the fronts and the lightin' up the rears.

One's a car and one's truck, but they're both red, so take your pick. A father-son duo brought out this pair of red hots. The '34 Chevy is piloted by father George and the '53 truck is piloted by son Mark.

When was the last time you saw an LS1 perched between the frame rails of a bagged and slammed '53 Studebaker? My thoughts exactly. Wayne Pennington sees it everyday when he walks out into his garage.

Compare and contrast. Check out the stock form of a '39 Chevy compared to the radically customized '39. Not too many similarities are there?

Our kind of people, Chevy fans that are willing to brave the heat and Tennessee sun just to check out some cars and racing.

Blow me sideways and slap me silly, because this bruiser ain't no cruiser. Gimme three minutes behind the wheel and I'll redefine what a burnout is! Then again I guess that's kind of easy to do when it's not your car that's getting thrashed!

The sound of a Nextel Cup car racing around the track is definitely one of the baddest sounds I've ever heard, but the sound of 454 Chevelle echoing off the rafters and empty metal seats is just the right tone.
