John Denny of Buena Park, CA, picked up this bright '56 210 from son Jason after it already had a 427 installed. Dad then finished off the paint, chrome, interior, and trim and brought it to Super Chevy. |  Gary Trahan brought this COPO...  Gary Trahan brought this COPO '69 Camaro up from Cajun Country. It is only fully appreciated in person. It deservedly took an Editor's Choice Top Ten Show Car award. |  Gary and Michelle Hofsheier...  Gary and Michelle Hofsheier and family drove this beautiful custom '62 wagon from Salinas, CA, to Pomona for the show, a distance of several-hundred miles! Mom and dad kept the kids entertained with a drop-down TV in the ceiling and lots of DVD movies. The car took the Custom Rodder Magazine Outstanding Custom Rod award. |  Winner of the Classic Trucks...  Winner of the Classic Trucks Magazine Outstanding Classic Truck award was Jeff Huntoon from Long Beach, CA, for his sharp '56 half-ton. Look for this pickup to be a feature in an upcoming issue of Classic Trucks magazine. |  |  SUPER CHEVY magazine's 30th...  SUPER CHEVY magazine's 30th Anniversary will be celebrated all season at every Super Chevy Show. During this season only we will select one car at each show to receive our 30th Anniversary Award, which will be marked by a plaque and by the car owner's receiving a limited-edition jacket from Lonestar Productions. Our first 30th Anniversary car is this sparkling '59 Impala convertible belonging to Debbie Spears of Moorpark, CA. Replicas of the jacket awarded to the 30th Anniversary Award car owner are available this year only at the Lonestar booth, but when we went to get one on Saturday afternoon, the entire stock was already sold out! Once again it's true: you snooze, you lose. |
