PAH III has a new home! Pelican Products founder, and last year's PAH winning bidder Dave Parker got to take home our LSA powered 1970 Chevelle for a whopping $250,000 at the Barrett-Jackson Orange County auction in Costa Mesa, California.
Here's what Editor Campisano had to say:
"I consider it an honor just to shake Dave Parker's hand. He is truly a great and compassionate human being. The money he had donated to the Armed Forces Foundation will do so much good for so many that it's hard to measure."
"That's three-quarters of a million dollars he's given in two years to help the families of our service men and women. I hope others who read this will be inspired to follow dave's lead and generously donate today to the Armed Forces Foundation"
All the proceeds from the auction will go to the Armed Forces Foundation. Just like last year, the generous folks at Barrett Jackson have waived all auction fees. AFF leader Patricia Driscoll was on hand for the auction, and watched as the Chevelle was led on stage by a Marine Colorgaurd and escorted by Silver Starlets Charis Burrett, Susie Feldman, and Hiromi Oshima.
None of this would've been possible without the hard work of Bill Jelinek and his crew at Route 66 Motorsports, and the gracious donations of parts and materials from our sponsors/advertisers:
