Day two of the 2019 NSRA Street Rod Nationals in Louisville, Kentucky, was off the charts as far as cars, spectators, and fun goes. Word has it there are around 14,000 cars on the grounds, which is more than we've seen at this show in years. Is it because it's the 50th Street Rod Nats? Is it due to the incredible weather? Not sure of the reason, but this is definitely the place to be if you are into hot rods of every brand, style, and color.
With that said, we took full advantage of the situation and gathered up more photos of the coolest Chevys from within the confines of the massive Kentucky Exposition Center. Just like yesterday and pretty much every year, there were plenty of Novas, Tri-Fives, Chevelles, Corvettes, El Caminos, Camaros, trucks, and big cars of the '60s.
We stopped by the Lucky Enough Car Club display gathering where we found an exceptional group of first-gen Camaros that included a bunch of great restomods as well as a few nicely done restorations. These guys have been coming here for eight years now, which is when the NSRA began allowing cars 30 years old and older to attend.
We also made our way over to the Classic Instruments Pros' Pick area where we came across some truly amazing Chevys built to the highest standards and amazing quality.
The 50th Annual NSRA Street Rod Nationals is officially going down as the best in years. Badass Chevys—and, of course, other brands, as well—great weather, and hundreds of great aftermarket vendors should you need to pick up parts for your next upgrade make for an awesome show.
