With a return to a full weekend format, the Super Chevy Show at the Texas Motorplex in Ennis (May 16-18) promises to be bigger and wilder than ever! Drag racing, show cars from all over Texas—and the United States!—plus a cruise on Saturday morning guarantee that this year’s event outside Dallas will be the most exciting in years.

How could it get better? How about an offer to save you 10 bucks? All Super Chevy Show participants can save $10 by purchasing tickets in advance at texasmotorplex.com, or by calling 972-878-2641. If you do, you’ll get free admission to the Fast Friday race at the Motorplex (and you can race for an extra $5).

Saturday’s festivities kick off with a cruise to the track from the historic Waxahatchee Court House. Coffee and kolaches will be provided for all cruise attendees, then it’s off to the Motorplex for the show. Listed below is a list of all the Super Chevy Show classes; suffice to say, if you’ve got a Bow Tie, we’ve got a category in which to compete. The track is also happy to announce that the North Texas Camaro Club will be present with some of the hottest F-bodies in the Lone Star State.

If you like to burn rubber, the world famous Motorplex strip will be prepped to the nines. There are classes for every Chevy ever built, as well as those Chevy-powered. In the bracket categories, you have DOT, Electronics and non-electronics classes, the world famous Super Chevy True Street Challenge (with road tour), and the CamaroGuys Gen-5 Challenge, presented by S&W Race Cars. There’s also the Tuff Truck/SUV category and Heads-Up Index Classes (11, 12 and 13-seconds). If watching the races is more your speed, NAPA is presenting a killer Pro Mod Shootout.

Note: All participants must stop at Gate 10 when they enter the facility to pick up their Super Chevy Show Tech Cards, Car Show Judging Cards or their Swap Meet or Car Corral Registration forms. Participants who have purchased their registration in advance will show the print at home ticket at the gate. All goodie bags will be distributed at Gate 10 at time of purchase or registration redemption.
