Everyone has heard of the SEMA show held each year in Las Vegas, Nevada. It’s a massive gathering of all things automotive where various manufacturers gather to show off their wares and hopefully make some monetary love connections with dealers and distributors around the world. Well, the east coast version of this event is called the PRI Show and each December it’s held in the chilly town of Indianapolis, Indiana. While not nearly as large as SEMA it’s a much better deal if you’re more into cars that go rather than those that just show. You see, PRI is all about racing! Drag racing, circle track racing, road racing, anything involving cars going fast is the focus of the PRI Show.
This means there’s no vendors pitching 22-inch wheels or really any parts not specifically targeted to the racing sports. That also means the cars put on display to catch the attention of the tens of thousands of attendees fall on the racing side of the spectrum. Many cars from the uber popular Street Outlaw series were sprinkled about the convention center along with famous rides from the likes of Jeff Lutz and we even spotted the legendary Big Red Camaro.
So while we were there to check out the latest go-fast parts we thought you may like to cast a glance at some of the killer cars and engine bays on display. So sit back, work your mouse, and get some ideas for your own Chevy project.
