Some things at the SEMA show are constant. There are always unveilings of the hottest cars from across the country, there are always celebrity autograph signings, and there are always pretty girls working at booths trying to get people to stop and check out whatever wares are being pitched. Booth girls, or brand ambassadors if you’re feeling particularly PC today, are nearly a SEMA tradition at this point. The reason is simple, over 80-percent of the attendees at the show are male and nothing gets a guy’s attention faster than a pretty smile. It’s just a fact of nature and many manufacturers use this to get people’s attention in a venue full of attention grabbing stuff. Sometimes they are well-known models, or women from the industry, but often they are just ladies hired to help work the booth. We’re sure that by the end of SEMA they are just as beat as the people walking the miles of SEMA madness.
Any way you slice it the show wouldn’t quite be the same without them suffering through standing for 8 hours in high heels to promote some widget or hand out trinkets to the 100,000+ SEMA attendees. So, with that in mind we would like to take a moment to salute the SEMA booth girls with a tasteful gallery of some of the lovely ladies who give us a welcomed break from looking at car parts, shiny paint, and bright lights.
