The 55th Annual O’Reilly Auto Parts Milwaukee World of Wheels at Wisconsin State Fair Park February 24-26, 2017, featured an amazing automotive display of top-notch muscle cars, street rods, customs, lowriders, restorations, and more. And with a Pinup Girl contest and rockabilly bands as part of the scene, the place was looking good and rocking hard all weekend long.
But for our audience, we unleashed automotive photographer Dominick Damato to set focus on all the Detroit muscle at the show; specifically, the coolest and most outrageous Chevys at the event—of which there were plenty. Top-quality vintage muscle cars and trucks, late-model muscle cars, street machines, Pro Touring, Pro Street, and insane drag cars turned the convention center into a horsepower haven. Naturally, there were a good amount of Camaros, Novas, Chevells, and Tri-Fives, but the high-horsepower big cars like the Monte Carlos and early ’60s Bel Airs were a highlight that really caught our attention.
For those who prefer to set their sights on powerplants more so than immaculate paintjobs and shiny wheels, there were a variety of elaborate engine combos strutting their stuff. LS, big-block, and small-block mills went from calm to killer, with turbos and blowers flexing their muscle under the hoods of the majority of the rides.
The 55th Annual O’Reilly Auto Parts Milwaukee World of Wheels had plenty to offer regardless of what gets your automotive blood pumping, so check out this photo gallery of the muscle car mayhem from Milwaukee.
