The station wagon—you can take it camping, on a picnic, to the beach or a road trip across the country, and now you can take it to your local hot rod show! Here at the Goodguys 19th Southwest Nationals in Scottsdale, Arizona, station wagons have made their presence known.
Somehow, over the years, wagons have slowly transitioned from dorky grocery-getters to stylish hot rods. Some of that might have something to do with rising prices on traditional two-door muscle cars, but we still think they have a good reason for being on scene. If you take the time to fix one up and getting running reliably, they can become quite desirable as a driver—something that can’t always be said for high-end restorations of your typical classic car.
Take a gander at the gallery of wagons we gathered up from this weekend at the Goodguys show and, since you did find this article on the Super Chevy Network, you can bet there’s a bow tie on the front of them all.
