Without engines our cars would be nothing more than shiny lawn ornaments, so it’s no wonder that so many people put so much into making the heart of our Chevys shine and look perfect. This is even more so at the SEMA show where the best of the best converge to show off and provide some visual attention getting for the throngs of people checking out the latest the automotive industry has to offer.
As you can imagine the LS engine still rules the roost, there were also a ton of tricked out small block Chevy mills and even a few tasty big blocks sprinkled about. We know of you give us grief about the prevalence of LS engines, but when you think of it’s the only logical choice for modernized Chevys, both in terms of cost and performance. Still, as much as we love them we still get a raised heartbeat when we see a sweet small- or big-block decked out and looking good.
Today we concentrated on the central hall, which is where most of the Chevy muscle is located, but tomorrow we will venture forth into the other buildings where we might find a few Chevys hiding amongst the booth girls and wheel displays. Who knows what we will find since anything is possible at the 2016 SEMA show!
