After 6 years this event just keeps getting better!

Six years ago Holley, well known for its' kickass line of carburetors, saw the writing on the wall and decided to dive headfirst into the electronic fuel injection (EFI) pond. Knowing that nothing has dominated the EFI market like the GM line of LS engines, they started burning the midnight oil in an effort to churn out every possible type of part that gearheads might need for their fuel injection desires. With this new direction, Holley came up with the idea of hosting an event specifically for cars powered by LS engines and the Holley LSFest was born. This three-day event is a celebration of everything (literally) powered by one of GM's LS (and even the new GM LT series) engines.

While the event is specifically tied to LS engines the LS Fest activities are numerous. There's drag racing for those who dig flinging their cars down the drag strip, two autocross courses for the turn fast crowd, a chassis dyno, a little road racing, car show, and a vendor's midway so people can drool over the latest and greatest LS parts to hit the market from various manufacturers. For spectators there was all that plus a crazy engine swapping contest and tire-smoke-generating drifting demonstrations.

This event grows even year and 2016 was no exception. Many of the events sold out and hundreds of cars showed up to battle it out for prize money and glory. There were many classes to choose from but all had one thing in common, the rides had to be LS powered. Yep, Mustangs, Datsuns, and just about anything you could imagine was running, but all were rockin' GM's amazing LS or new-school LT powerplants. So flip though a few hundred or these killer drag cars and we tried to shoot the timing boards when we could so you can see that that ride actually ran. If you've never been to the Holley LSfest then we strongly suggest you put it on your "to do" list. Oh, and for us west-coasters they even announced a Holley LSfest west coast event to be held next May in Las Vegas Nevada!
