Once the NSRA (National Street Rod Association) opened up the year of cars allowed to partake their events to thirty years and older, back in 2010, the floodgates opened for the 60’s and 70’s muscle car folks to join in the fun and park their rides right along side the long-timers and their early hot rods. And, believe it or not, everyone seems to be getting along just fine.
ARP is excited to bring you all of the NSRA Nationals coverage including photo galleries, videos, and event coverage here!
This made for a great opportunity for us here at Chevy High Performance to head on out to Louisville, Kentucky, for the 47th Annual Street Rod Nationals at the Kentucky Exposition Center, to cover this massive Street Rod, errr, Muscle Car event. And like all car shows that cater to vintage muscle, there were more than enough Chevy’s to cover the show grounds in what seemed like 100 or more football fields of acerage.
Knowing that those who own muscle cars of the Pro Touring variety aren’t much for sitting around for long periods of time, the NSRA enlisted the service of the crew at the American Street Car Series to put together a good-sized autocross course in a nice out-of-the-way spot in the north lot near the baseball stadium.
With plenty of Chevy’s in attendance, we put together this gallery featuring some of the coolest Camaros, Tri-Fives, Chevelles, Novas, and trucks in the house that we saw early on in the event.
