The PPG Syracuse Nationals is one of the largest classic car shows in the country, and the 17th-annual event held July 15th-17th, was right on track as one of the biggest ever. This massive show drew over 7,800 cars and over 400 vendors to the beautiful New York State Fairgrounds. With the fairgrounds consisting of over 365 acres, there was no shortage of room for the best and most unique vintage hot rods which came in from all over the country and Canada.
With thousands of vintage cars of all makes and models in attendance, there was absolutely no shortage of Chevy’s to keep the Bow Tie crowd happy. And it wasn't only about late-sixties and early seventies Camaro, Nova, and Chevelle muscle cars; we came across some of the nicest Tri-Five Chevy’s the country had to offer. The mix of build styles included a variety of of Pro Touring, Pro Street, restorations, restomods, lowriders and everything in between, so no matter what your taste in classics, this show absolutely had you covered.
Yet the Syracuse Nationals is more than just your typical car show; there was a massive swap meet, live music, car corral, mini-nationals, and an autocross for those wanting to put their car and driver skills to test.
Put this one on your calendar of must-attend events for next year. Until then, enjoy this photo gallery of Chevy’s from the 2016 PPG Syracuse Nationals.
