Half the fun of having a cool Chevy is showing it off, so when we got the invite from POL to come check out their 2016 open house we thought it was a great excuse to duck out on some weekend chores and check out all the cool rides. This event was sponsored by Performance Online (www.performanceonline.com) as an open house from 8am until around 3pm last Sunday. Of course, many of the rides were Chevys with a majority of vehicles wearing a bowtie or being powered by a Chevy engine! POL had food, music, raffle prizes, and even some go carts for the kids. Gassers, pro-street, trucks, Caddys, Novas, and a host of other nameplates filled up POL’s parking lot.
For Chevy trucks, Performance Online (POL) was showing off their new slew of bolt-on upgrade parts. In addition to the tubular control arms and other handling bits, including their rear frame C-notch kit. This bolt-on kit lets you easily drop the back of your 1963-1972 C10 truck and is much easier that cutting, welding, and fabricating a solution to this common problem. This was POL’s second open house and the turnout was better than last year, so we’re hoping to have some of our project cars done next year so we can get in on the action.
