If you are a car freak, no doubt you’ve been to quite a few major car shows where polished wheels and mile-deep paintjobs go as far as the eye can see. Good stuff, indeed.
But every now and then it’s good to hit a show where you don’t reach your daily 10,000-step goal in the first two hours of walking through the door. For those on the east coast, the 42nd Annual Town Fair Tire World of Wheels indoor car show in Boston, Massachusetts, held the weekend of April 1st - 3rd, is a great event that you can cover in much less time than the usual mega shows where thousands of cars on hand is the norm. Organized by Championship Auto Shows, Inc., this fantastic event held at the Seaport World Trade Center, sets its sights on quality over quantity. Typically the Boston World of Wheels is considered a smaller show due to the limited floor space, but where some shows can drop off in quality, this one delivers throughout the entire venue. With that said, there were plenty of custom-built classic Pro Street, Pro Touring, Street Machines and restos offered up from the Chevy world to keep just about every Camaro, Nova, Chevelle, Tri-Five, and big-car fan happy.
For those not able to check out the event firsthand, we’ve compiled a robust image gallery to help you get through your workweek. And if you are cruising these photos at work, just be sure to have another window open in your browser in case your boss walks by … and in the event that he or she is a car person, send them the link so they can enjoy it as well.
