The 54th Annual O’Reilly Auto Parts Chicago World of Wheels presented by South Oak Dodge/Crysler/Jeep held the weekend of March 4th – 6th at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois, featured over 500 rides from every corner of our hobby. Be it motorcycles, trucks, street rods, lowriders, or over-the-top show cars, the place was hopping with the best custom-built and factory muscle machines from the surrounding area and beyond.
To mix things up and for a little fun, there was a pedal car display presented by Summit Racing. Also, the 9th Annual Chicago Brushmaster, a pinstripers charity auction was held to benefit Hope for Children’s Hospital Ronald McDonald House. And for those into the more traditional scene, the Motorama area featured some amazing old-school hot rods and customs, as well as some rockabilly bands for those wanting to grove to some nostalgic tunes.
But for our purposes, we here at Chevy High Performance were on hand to search out the best Chevy’s on the convention center’s floor. And with plethora of performance-ignited and factory muscle machines on display, the show featured everything from Pro Touring, Pro Street, stock, and drag cars. Needless to say, we came away with a candy bag full of the sweetest mix of Camaros (early and late-model), Chevelles, Novas, Corvettes, Tri-Fives, El Caminos and everything in between.
For those not able to attend the show in person, we hope you enjoy this photo gallery of the best Chevy’s from the 54th Annual O’Reilly Auto Parts Chicago World of Wheels.
