We are here at Beech Bend Raceway in Bowling Green, Kentucky for the Danchuk Tri-Five Nationals where the largest grouping of 1955-1957 Chevys we’ve ever seen has been amassed. We’ll have a tally of cars at the end of the event but for now, you’ll have to trust us – it’s big! Below we’ve put together some galleries from the events first-day happenings. Stay tuned for more updates and even more photos of your favorite Tri Five Chevys.
1955-1957 Chevy Gallery
Cruising around Beech Bend reveals a colorful blur of cars, far too copious to count and with just about every style of build under the son. Whether you like gassers, resto-mods, concours restorations or something in between, you are sure to find an abundance of eye-pleasing Bow Ties.
While the amounts of chrome and smooth-as-glass paint here at the Danchuk Tri Five nationals are all but staggering, there is plenty of way-cool patina to go along with it. Check out this gallery of cars rockin’ some rough paint. Let’s hear it for these guys still getting out and driving their cars.
50 Tri-Five Intake Ideas
With all of the Tri Five hoods popped open in the tremendous car show, we got to take a peek at all of the different styles of induction people were running in their heavy Chevys. Single carbs, dual, carbs, mechanical injection, and blowers; it’s all here. Everything from mild to wild, and wacky to expensive dots the show. Take a peek through the gallery and ponder the question: “What does my induction system say about me?”
