If you enjoy watching today’s top-performing Chevy muscle cars in action like we do, we highly recommend attending Holley’s LS Fest in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Whether you’re into old or new muscle cars, wheels-up drag racing or tight-handling autocross competition, LS Fest has it all.

With seven drag racing classes, including an exclusive fifth-gen Camaro index class hosted by Nitto Tire and the increasingly popular heads-up class Holley EFI Real Street, spectators get to see a whole myriad of performances—all from LS engine-powered muscle cars.

There’s even a Drift Challenge and Engine Swap Challenge where teams compete by swapping an LS into an old car and the winner gets to keep the engine equipped with numerous Holley Performance parts including a brand new EFI system. For the autocross portion of the event, racers compete in five different categories where points are scored and the one with the highest score is crowned the LS Fest Grand Champion.

This event is also the third stop for the NMCA LSX Challenge series, a four-event competition where drag racers compete for a championship and supreme LS glory. We love to keep up with what’s going on in the LS world, so once again our team headed out to the lush rolling hills of Kentucky to bring our readers a glimpse of the types of cars that you can see at this wild event.
