This year's Return to the Coast event saw 102 of the hardest handling muscle machines in the country doing battle on the tarmac at El Toro Air Base. And once again, the CHP staff was on the grounds to cover all of the exciting action. The event saw Brian Hobaugh annihilate the competition with his red and black Corvette in all three categories.

The ASCS events feature three classes to test your mettle; a speed/stop challenge, a 2.1-mile road course, and the autocross, which was held on both Saturday and Sunday. You can bet this growing event is happening next year, so if you're interested in attending one of ASCS events in 2014, then get on the web and head over to americanstreetcarseries.com.

Rob MacGregor’s truck is no slouch. Something this large shouldn’t move that fast, but it does.
