Whatever we're expecting at the Super Chevy Show in Denver, we always get a surprise or two. When we expect trucks (which is natural up in the mountains), we get Corvettes. If we anticipate Camaros, we get Novas. This year we got everything. The best and brightest Chevys poured in the show grounds and the racetrack and completely dazzled us. These cars came from as far away as Washington to the north, New Mexico and Texas from the south, and Illinois to the east. Of course we had a bunch from California and even one from Alaska! Denver draws 'em all. The racing was the greatest and we even found one of our favorite local guys, Jim Nordhougen (Nitro Coupe Champ for 2001) helping out in the pits. Of course we can't go into Denver without a thought or two, and some remembrances of, another great racer, John Reynolds, who we lost here at last year's event. We all miss the big guy.
