Sin City Saturday Review

The Super Chevy Show Gears Up To Gear Down

Welcome to our first "from the event" coverage of the Super Chevy Show Series. If you logged on in the last 24 hours, we delivered some highlights of the Super Cruise to Las Vegas, and now you can see a bit of what the "Sin City" version of the Super Chevy Show has to offer.

When it comes to personnel, you may not find a crew that works harder than those from Roger Gustin's AutoStar Productions, promoters of the giant Super Chevy Show Series. An exciting announcement was made during Friday evening's year-end Sponsor and Vendor Appreciation Banquet. Auto Zone has signed on as the event title-rights sponsor, and that's just one example of how the AutoStar crew works to deliver the most enjoyable, family-oriented, automotive events on the planet. The entire staff of Super Chevy magazine welcomes Auto Zone and looks forward to even better things in 2003 and beyond.

The giant Las Vegas Motor Speedway facility began filling up early, as car show participants came from far away to be part of the action. Likewise, bracket racers from surrounding states too numerous to mention already had the expansive pit area buzzing with activity.

In order to deliver these web-exclusive updates, yours truly beat the pavement until early afternoon, and escaped to his hotel to download digital images, chronical the action, and make it live on superchevy-web. Believe me, it's hard to pull out of the gates before the pipes go silent! And with hotel beds never reaching the comfort levels found at home, this page is being created in the wee hours (before and after sunrise) on Sunday morning.

So, without further delay, let's get some images posted and deliver another high-powered highlight of the happenings. Thanks for logging on!
