Taylor Kempkes

Staff Editor

Taylor’s obsession with cars started early, playing with Hot Wheels and reading automotive magazines from a young age. It wasn’t until his freshman year of college that he had an epiphany: there was someone behind the pages of those magazines taking the photos and writing the stories. At that point, he dove head-first into a journalism degree at California State University Long Beach, seeing that a career in the field of automotive journalism perfectly combined his passion for cars, writing, and photography. During his final year of formal schooling, he began freelance writing for HOT ROD Magazine which, after graduation, lead him to becoming the Features Editor for the Super Chevy Network.
