Brand Manager - Super Chevy
Jim spent five years as a sportswriter after college, but in his heart he always wanted to work for a car magazine. In 1989, he was hired as a copy editor for MuscleCars Magazine, Vette Magazine, and four other automotive periodicals. By 1991, he was editor of MuscleCars and senior editor of Vette. He spent 15 years as the editor and editorial director of numerous other publications before being promoted to editor of Super Chevy Magazine in 2006. He has also authored six automotive books, including the Encyclopedia of American Muscle Cars. He's owned numerous Chevys, including his current rides—a '72 LT-1 Corvette and ’72 Nova SS powered by a 509 big-block.
